La Belle Skin x pretty lashes

Every girl wants to feel pretty. But some of us are lazy to primp ourselves every morning before heading out of th house. So what's th next best thing to do? Semi-permanent make up! What I dubbed as Semi-Permanent make up would be stuff like Eye Lash extensions, Eyebrow embroidery, etc. But for today we are going to be focusing on........ EYELASH EXTENSIONS!

Last Tuesday I was invited to La Belle to try their much raved about 6D Silk Lash Extensions. Silk lashe is th new kid on th block. Usual Eyelash extensions you get at those shops at FEP uses Fiber Lashes. They tend to look and feel plastic-y. La Belle offers two types of eyelash extensions. 3D Fiber Lash (a step up from fiber lashes) and 6D Silk Lashes.

They bring you to this tiny little room at th back for you to rest comfortably while they work on your lashes. This little bed thingy was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. Trust me if it was 10 minutes longer I would have snored. The whole process from entering to discussing which lash I needed to th amount to use on me took less than one and a half hours. One of th best part of this process is th glue doesn't take 25499684578 years to dry.

I have done thoe cheapo eyelash extensions at FEP before and you needed a good 20 minutes just to lie with th mini fan drying th glue they used. The glue La Belle used dried as they put it on. I was shocked when they asked me to open my eyes just a minute after she put on th last strand of eyelash.

Silk Lashes are the new craze. If you’re going for that 100% natural look, this is best you can get. Most people love Silk Lash because they look so natural and give them full, fluffy eyelashes. Silk Lash is really only recommended for those who have very thin natural eyelashes that have trouble supporting the weight of Fiber Lash and it can last about 4-8 weeks.

You are able to choose from a selection of  7mm to 14mm in length and  and  30% / 50% / 70% / 90% curl.

This is a before and after shot of my lashes. See th drastic but natural difference?

For th lashes that I'm using. Its 10mm and abit of 12mm mixed in at a 50% curl. I chose it to be subtle and less curled because I dont have th habit of curling my lashes so I do not think it will suit me that well. I also asked not to have such thick lashes because I used to do th "ahlian" kind which my friends call th "Seaweed on your eye" lashes. *Pardon my unplucked brows*

La Belle is located in Delfi Orchard, Second Floor at th corner. You can't miss them because they are so clean and white. Their 6D silk lashes are at $198 and their 3D Fiber lashes are $158.

Besides Eyelash extensions, they also provide skin treatments such as Facials, Permanent Hair Removal (IPL), Eyebrow Embrodiery, Face Threading, Slimming, Eyelash Perming and even nails services. Ain't they a one stop destination for everything a girl can need!

Give them a call to book your first appointment to semi-permanent make up now!
